The Pretty Little Liars writers, directors and cast have kept busy on twitter these past few weeks answering questions about the upcoming Season 3 premiere. While we love the juicy details they share with fans, we’re selective as to which ones we posts since we want to avoid spoiling the exciting episode. However, we couldn’t resist a recent spoiler  tweeted out by Bryan Holdan (a PLL writer) when a viewer asked him if Kate Randall will pop up at all to resume sabotaging poor Hanna Marin. He responded straightforwardly, “Looks like not in 3A. Too bad; I like her bad girl moves as ‘Kate.’”

While we don’t like seeing Hannakins picked on, we do enjoy watching her go into queen bee mode and get sassy with Kate — saying there’s too much tension between the two is a total understatement. However, out with the old, in with the new. Don’t fret your pretty little heads over crazy Kate not returning for the first part of the season, because Rosewood is adding two more residents to its rapidly growing population roster! The first is CeCe Drake, according to TVLine.com, is a “beyond-charismatic twentysomething blonde stylist at a boutique that has one heel in the present, one in the past.” The second is Kenneth who is described as a “middle-aged enigma who comes off as intimidating in large part because … well, he’s an enigma.”

If there’s anything that we’ve come to learn about Rosewood and its supposedly harmless residents, is that nothing — and no one — is as it seems!

What do you think about CeCe and Kenneth — are trustworthy or up to no good? Post your feedback for the newbies of Pretty Little Liars Season 3 below!

Casting News: The Newbies of Pretty Little Liars Season 3

78705dac1743c375ac3a372e0d5fa5e7 Casting News: The Newbies of Pretty Little Liars Season 3ABC Family’s hit series Pretty Little Liars is of mysterious and intriguing characters. From Jason DiLaurentis to Jenna Marshall, practically every Rosewood resident has a dark secret to hide. Well, the new characters being introduced on Pretty Little Liars Season 3 are no different. We already know that Maya St. Germain’s cousin is moving to town, but there will be plenty of other visitors to look forward too as well. Here’s who we will be meeting:

  1. Linda: We will be meeting her in Pretty Little Liars episode 3.05 titled “That Girl Is Poison.” She’s described by E!Online as a “boho-chic, Philly-born photographer” who hires one of the Liars as her assistant.
  2. Ted: He’ll also be introduced on “That Girl Is Poison.” However, he doesn’t sound very threatening like some of Rosewood’s previous guest visitors. This guy is described as a “friendly church-rummage-sale coordinator.”
  3. Nathan St. Germain: Nathan is Maya’s cousin who will be dropping by Rosewood in Pretty Little Liars Season 3! According to TVGuide.com, Sterling Sulieman (The Vampire Diaries, All My Children, NCIS and 24) is taking on the role. Nathan is described as “catnip” (hottier alert!) to girls everywhere, and comes to Rosewood as a Hollis College transfer student who’s studying law.
  4. Ezra’s brother:  Marlene King has revealed that we will be meeting him earlier on in PLL Season 3. (Two Fitzs? We don’t think our televisions will be able to handle such hotness!)
  5. Kevin: According to E!Online, this guy’s a hipster coffee shop employee who works at The Brew (a new Rosewood hangout spot).
  6. Caleb’s mom: Although her appearance has not been 100% confirmed, we have a feeling we will — especially after all that hype in Season 2 about Caleb reconnecting with his birth mom. Plus, Marlene King tweeted weeks ago that it’s a strong possibility!

Who are you most excited to meet? Are there any characters from the Pretty Little Liars book series by Sara Shepard that you’d love to see on the show as well? Dish away in the comments!

Spoiler Alert: Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Episode Titles Revealed!

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably missing Pretty Little Liars big-time. Episode marathons, enjoying cast tweets, and re-reading all of Sara Shepard’s masterpieces definitely help ease the pain but PLL withdrawal is some serious business. Well, fret not fellow Rosewood fanatics, because we’ve found one remedy to be quite affective — indulging in spoilers!

We’re definitely not picky when it comes to spoilers — we’ll take them in any form or fashion as long as they don’t give too much away. Whether Marlene King treats viewers to a few spicy details about Ezra and Aria or a cast member reveals juicy hints during an exclusive interview, sneak peeks get us excited. However, the best clues (aside from pics) come in the form of episode titles because, although cryptic, they’re deliberate and offer a great deal of insight into what’s in store for our favorite Rosewood girls!

Take the first three episodes of Pretty Little Liars Season 3 for example: “It Happened That Night,” “Blood is The New Black,” and “In The Kingdom of The Blind.”  Episode 1, “It Happened That Night,” will focus on a new terrifying scandal (think along the lines of “The Jenna Thing“). Episode 2, “Blood is The New Black,” foreshadows an intense injury or, worse yet, a murder. The black could also have something to do with A’s (Mona’s) wardrobe preference or the mysterious Black Swan from the masquerade ball. Episode 3, “In The Kingdom of The Blind,” was inspired by a Latin proverb from the wise Desiderius Erasmus, “In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Now, unless a cyclops is making his way to Rosewood, we’re pretty sure this episode will focus on Jenna Marshall, who apparently feigned her lack of sight for the past two seasons. (Crazy cakes!) Overall, although none of our theories are concrete and could easily be refuted by the release of new season 3 info, one thing’s for sure — these titles are dark and creepy, which suggests that nothing good came out of unmasking ‘A’ in the Season 2 finale!

Marlene King

Although Marlene King didn’t directly state it in her tweet, she did reveal at the beginning of the season that ‘sex’ would enter into the equation as some point. Ezra and Aria’s romance has hit some heart-sinking lows but this news is certainly exciting for all those who appreciate their romance! For a while, it really seemed as though Ezra would take the job in New Orleans and bid Aria adieu forever. However, when he stood up to Byron and professed his love for Aria on “Eye of the Beholder,” we knew all was well in Ezria-land!

Pretty Little Liars Episode 24 Sneak Peek Pictures, Spoilers, and Synopsis!

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012

1fa0deaec31dcc20c9d12bb1a4f30268 Pretty Little Liars Episode 24 Sneak Peek Pictures, Spoilers, and Synopsis! Is it just us or is each Pretty Little Liars episode from season 2 more action-packed and gripping than the one before it?! Not only are Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna making remarkable strides in their “Who is A” investigation but also there have been some unsettling developments — namely that Melissa Hastings is somehow involved in Alison DiLaurentis’ mysterious murder and that Jenna Marshall has upped her game by undergoing eye surgery.  Um, if Jenna proved herself to be a menacing force in Rosewood without her sight, imagine how much more powerful she’ll be with all five senses working at full capacity! Yikes, damn, and OMG NO!

And Pretty Little Liars episode 24, “If These Dolls Could Talk,” is seriously bumping up the danger-fest a couple of notches! The Liars will uncover a plethora of new clues at a doll factory (hopefully not creepy Chucky dolls like the ones from “Over My Dead Body”), meet an unexpected witness, and have to deal with more Jenna drama than they’re prepared to handle!

Here’s the official synopsis for Pretty Little Liars episode 24!

The hunt for answers about what Ali knew leads Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to a rundown doll hospital that holds more than just secrets in “If These Dolls Could Talk,” an all new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” airing Monday, March 12th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer search for the meaning of new clues leads them to a doll hospital that holds some very familiar looking dolls and a little boy that knows more than he leads onto. But what would bring Ali to such a creepy and weird location on her hunt for “A?” And what can the four girls learn about the secrets that are stashed away on the shelves between forgotten playmates?

Meanwhile, Jenna’s surgery brings about more than just the possibility of regaining her sight.

Spoilers: Lucy Hale on the Scene

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Mr. Fitz (Ian Harding) and Aria have parted ways on “Pretty Little Liars,” but Zap2it caught up with “Liars” star Lucy Hale at the KTLA News Morning Show, where she laid the Mr. Fitz fears to rest.

“It’s not the end of the Fitz and Montgomery relationship,” Hale assures us. “There’s a little question about where he’s gone, is he gone for good? Because in the books he goes away and when he goes away, he goes away for good … but it’s not the end of it.”

It’s good to hear that Mr. Fitz will be back because Aria’s home life isn’t getting an easier.

“[The Montgomery family] is pretty much broken at this point … Everyone expected my dad to leave, but my mom goes away,” Hale says. “I’m trying to spend time with my dad, with my mom and take care of my brother and try to keep a sane head for myself.”

But the Tuesday (July 27) episode of “Liars” is not focusing much on Mr. Fitz or the Montgomery family. Instead, Alison’s memorial is front and center — and the introduction of Ali’s brother Jason (Parker Bagley).

“It’s supposed to be a happy day, remembering our memories and remembering her,” says Hale. “But her brother comes and is a completely different person from what we remember him as … He takes the whole memorial by the reins. There’s a lot of great stuff between him and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that is sort-of a little questionable.”

Hale also teases the return of Officer Wilden (Bryce Johnson), who is giving hard looks at the girls, “especially Emily.” “He doesn’t let us get off very easily. He’s back with a force,” Hale tells us.

And in response to fan Biankha’s question, Hale says her favorite episode is “the Homecoming episode.”

“I loved the outfits and I loved the set. We don’t always get to come together, the whole cast, because we have our own separate storylines,” Hale explains. “In this one, literally probably every character was in that episode so that was really fun for me.”

“Pretty Little Liars” airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.

Spoilers: Lucas and Hanna Romance

Monday, July 26th, 2010

“Pretty Little Liars” newcomer Brendan Robinson has high hopes for his character Lucas becoming romantically involved with Hanna (Ashley Benson).

“With every episode, it draws closer and closer to that. There’s some chemistry there, definitely,” Robinson tells Zap2it. “I know that Lucas already has big plans. He would jump at the chance to [be with Hanna]. And I think Hanna is coming to terms with her attraction towards Lucas.”

Brendan thinks the attraction between Lucas and Hanna is a universal theme of high school.

“Hanna will get pressure from people like Mona that she’s going out with somebody who’s less popular than she is. I think it’s something that a lot of people struggle with at that age. Trying to do the cool thing as opposed to what they feel,” says Robinson.

Warning Spoilers Ahead!

Beatrice in California: What’s ahead for Pretty Little Liars?
Allison’s brother is set to make a triumphant return to town—and not in a welcome way. The long-gone lady’s bro is out to take the girls down by discovering what really happened to A, thus ruining the lovely memorial Aria and Co. had planned for their friend.

Question: I am loving Pretty Little Liars. Definitely my new guilty pleasure. Have any scoop? —Kim
Ausiello: Silly question, Kim. And here’s a serious answer: yes. By season’s end, our plot will thicken so much, it’ll damn near solidify. For starters, Emily’s dad is about to come home and get a big shock from his little girl. Plus, Agent Wilden’s “bad cop” will soon get a “good cop” counterpart, a lady Fed who sounds like a Diane Lane dream role. And we’re about to start spending more time at the bank where Ashley works – at least enough to delve into her desperate financial situation and meet her 30ish boss.

Justina in Highlands Ranch, Colo.: I loved Pretty Little Liars! Anything juicy coming up?
Aside from all the “A” dramz, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is going to continue actively pursuing her big sis Melissa’s (Yep, that is Paul Wesley’s galpal and One Tree Hill’s psycho Nanny Carrie, Torrey Devitto) fiancé, Wren.
